i know we all like to rag on Kyle Ron stans for being delusional but apparently they believe that people made fun of this picture because Mr. Ron wasn’t “a greek sculpture” as opposed to laughing at it because his shoulders are in 16:9 aspect ratio and his pants are approaching his nipples

by the way, humanity can just refer to someone’s humanity. That they’re human. That they feel and comprehend the world with a human philosophy.
But that would require you to see trans men as part of humanity…
making fun of a trans guy’s first few haircuts is so incredibly cruel and people have been doing it to him for nearly a full year now, since the day he came out. no matter what he does with it, it feels almost memetic.
it’s not funny, it’s not big, it’s not important. it’s like making fun of someone’s smile or their laugh: cutting your hair short is so symbolic for so many trans guys, a moment of real joy. it’s like seeing yourself for the first time.
so i would appreciate it if people took care to ensure that basically telling a trans person they’re not presenting as their gender in the “best” or “most attractive” way or how you think they “should” does not become a meme.
Also, another key point: Media or any documentary about trans men is practically non-existent.
It is a huge thing that this is even being made.

SO! Some lore about the brothers:
The two are fraternal twins, born into the adoption system of this world. Since world peace is essentially achieved for the most part, the adoption system is generally worldwide and very well funded, focusing on quality of life for the children in the system and making sure they’re placed into qualified, loving homes. A part of this system is The Special Stork Delivery service (or simply known as the SS delivery), which is a program of which people may sign up to when they’d like to have children. The service specifically deals with adoption, so the children aren’t blood related to the parents they’re shipped to, but they are wanted all the same!
As such, the brothers are obviously adopted! The couple they were eventually brought to were toads who lived in a small island village, where the bros grew up in a happy community. The two eventually ventured out into the world when they were old enough, specifically around the time Bowser was crowned King of the Koopa Kingdom. This is important because, as a show of good will and as a means to be reintroduced into the world alliance, the Koopa Kingdom and the Mushroom Kingdom collaborated on a huge, elaborate event called the Super Star Saga. It’s basically an expanded version of King of the Hill: all participating contestants go through a set amount of “worlds” to battle their way to the final world, where they must do combat with King Bowser himself in order to both win the grand prize and get to meet the ruler of Mushroom Kingdom. Basically the original Super Mario games, but with the clear twist of it all being literally that: a game show. :]
Mario and Luigi are the ones who ended up winning the very first event, which is how they ended up meeting both Bowser and Peach at the same time, and ultimately started their friendship this way! owo
FUNFACTS:
-Mario and Luigi both started out as simple handymen in their village; whatever needed fixin’, ya came to them! When they moved closer to the capitol of the kingdom they undertook new careers: Luigi started his own bakery, the Waffle Kingdom Bakery, while Mario went on to become an agent in network with CASO (Convention Alliance Special Operations), which is the organization responsible for keeping the world alliance safe and maintaining the peace.
-Mario is selectively mute. It’s common for him to say a word or two but generally he communicates through sign language. In this universe, sign language is universally taught in all kingdoms of the world alliance as a mandatory, so just about everyone, at the very least, understands it even if they may have a hard time using it. Luigi, while not mute, doesn’t talk very much due to being rather shy, so ironically Mario is the more talkative of the two. owo
-Peach, Bowser, Luigi, and Mario are all very good friends! A romance will eventually blossom between Luigi and Bowser, but how that occurs and whatnot is for another day. uwu
-The brothers’ adoptive parents’ names are Salto and Lady! Salto is a humble plumber while Lady is an artist. Neither brother knows who their birth parents are, but it is of little concern to them.
-Mario and Luigi were targets of an attempted kidnapping during a stork’s delivery mission: the abduction was carried out by the pirate crew Wart and the 8Bits. Their failing to successfully nab Mario sets into motion the basic plot of Melon’s Adventure, in which illustrates how Melon met Mario (and eventually Luigi) and began his journey to bring the brothers to their original destination: their new home and family.
