I straight up work at an old watermill as the village blacksmith and yes, please. Like, I love the groups of kids coming through, but so often everything goes over their heads and they just excited because they can relate it to minecraft.
But we need to bring high school kids out, do hands on shit where I don’t have to worry about tiny kids getting hurt. College students, talk about history and metallurgy on a level they’re gonna understand. Working adults, show them that there’s life outside the office as a volunteer with cool hobbies. Seniors, because straight up a lot of them in this area had grandparents who did this stuff and I want to learn from their stories. Literally, field trips should be for everyone.
Educational Field trips are beneficial no matter you’re age there is a big world with much more to learn
the most annoying people are the ones who just reply “no 💖” to recovery/self-improvement posts
