Y’ALL my sister just dropped a theory about Moana on me and I’m
Grandma Tala. She seemed like a fairly healthy old woman on the whole, right? Dancing with the sea and the rays, doing Old Crazy Lady things etc etc. Okay. Sure.
The thing is, my sister suddenly pointed out that, ever since Moana dropped it as a baby, Tala had possession of the Heart of Te Fiti. The source of Life.
And then she gave it to Moana, who ran off with it to try and get the islanders to voyage out for Maui, and… suddenly deteriorated. Died.
What if the Heart had been keeping her alive. Te Fiti gave Life to the islands, but in the hands of another, what if that isn’t what it does? What if the Heart grants immortality? What if Tala knew, and still gave up the Heart so that Moana could find Maui, restore Te Fiti, and save Motunui?
And if that’s what the power of the Heart really was, no wonder the monsters wanted it.
The reason hitler and nazism was ever able to rise to power was that every time hitler did something the us and other world powers were just like “come on hitler :/ that’s not cool :/” instead of acting immediately we ended up with an entire world war that resulted in the deaths of millions of people, mainly Jewish people
So no sitting idly by while another fucking nazi group goes around saying shit like “are Jews people?” And “do we need a black race?” Is not the fucking answer. Sometimes you gotta punch a nazi in the fucking face so their wimp ass will be too afraid to show themselves in public for the foreseeable future
If a guy ever spreads a rumor that he slept with you, don’t deny it. One, because there will always be people who think it’s true, and two, because that dumbass boy just handed you the power to say anything you want about what he’s like in bed, and people will believe it. Say he bleats like a sheep when he orgasms. Say he put on pearl earrings and asked you to call him Daisy. Say he couldn’t get it up until he watched an old Billy Mays infomercial. The power is yours.
