Just leaving this here:

the moment in which Thor first sees the Hulk in a gladiatorial arena and describes his as a “friend from work” came from an unexpected source.

“We had a young kid, a Make-A-Wish kid on set that day,” Thor star Chris Hemsworth tells Entertainment Weekly. “He goes, ‘You know, you should say, ‘He’s a friend from work!’” (x)

CHARACTER DEVELOPEMENT

And you know the best thing about this movie is they could have made Felix be the nice guy, be the understanding guy, the only guy who’s kind to Ralph, but they make him just as prejudiced as the other game characters. He wasn’t mean toRalph per say, but he wasn’t nice either, and definitely didn’t want to get involved with the trouble that followed Ralph around.

It’s only after Felix gets treated badly himself that he starts looking at how Ralph is treated by others, how Ralph is treated by him and changes his attitude.

Because that’s the thing, you don’t have to be the bad guy to be prejudiced. Sometimes you can be the nice guy who doesn’t do anything for or against, and sometimes that’s just as bad.

This movie. Ugh.

If you can’t afford to commission an artist, don’t tell them that their prices are too high. This leaves the impression that the artist’s work isn’t of value to you, which can give them a bad impression of you, the client.

Instead, say that you are currently unable to pay for the commission, or that you would like to get back to them when you can pay. Don’t devalue an artist’s work just because it’s out of your price range.

Art is created by people, and those people are the ones who determine their own value. Respect that.

Too often people equate: “I can’t afford this right now” to “THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!”, especially with commissions.

1) Tumblr declared fanmail dead and over.

2) The page still exists, though, there’s just no links to it. Go to www.tumblr.com/send and it’s still there.

3) It pops up “Please use the new Messaging to talk to a Tumblr” when you put words in the word part. And the submit button is grayed out.

4) The submit button is still a submit button, though. Right-click the cancel button, click “inspect”, and you’ll see this:

<div class="submit_controls">
  <button class="send" type="submit" disabled="disabled">Send</button>
  <button class="cancel" type="button">Cancel</button>
</div>

Click that ‘disabled=“disabled”’ bit and delete it and you can still send fanmail.

Clearly Tumblr has not studied the Codeless Code, or they would understand the lesson of the Concubine’s Fog.

this website is a lesson in bad web design
