Pro-choicers disgust me. They claim abortion is health care.
LOL health care?
Do pro-choicers not know that abortion also harms the mother?
Abortion kills the baby and can harm the mother.
In some cases abortion can ruin the reproductive organs in a women and giving her a zero percent chance of ever having kids.
Abortion is also damaging emotionally. Most women regret it and have to live the rest of their lives with that guilt.
But according to pro-choicers, abortion is health care.
The mortality rate for a live birth is 14.67 times that of abortion. Abortion is one of the safest surgical procedures worldwide. Nonetheless, all surgical procedures have risks. But why only tell half the story? Please, do tell about pregnancy complications like anemia, lowered immunity to viruses (including malaria and HIV), and hemorrhages. Or do you prefer telling a biased, one-sided story?
According to research from the University of California, out of six categories (including guilt and sadness), 90% said their reaction was relief. Even for those with feelings of guilt, 80% said they did not regret the procedure. Not to mention that a sense of regret isn’t a good justification for illegalization. Cigarettes most definitely instigate much more severe regret in later life, but I certainly don’t see pro-lifers protesting a drug that accounts for more than 480,000 deaths annually. The only sites that EVER affirm “all people regret abortions” are pro-life, subjective ones.
Abortion should be healthcare simply because it is a health-related medical procedure. It requires a practised doctor, check ups, appointments, and a myriad of procedures that a person may not be able to afford. You may claim that abortion is killing, but that stems off of a life-begins-at-conception belief that has no consensus or legal bearing.
Kindly educate yourself before posting such an ignorant diatribe. We are not the disgusting ones here, unless of course you think facts and objectivity are gross. ~Bev
Not to mention that pro choice isn’t just about abortion, it’s about allowing people to have the right to do what they want with their own body. pro choice doesn’t force women to have an abortion against their will, it allows them to have the option should they choose to. It’s about letting them have the freedom of their own body. That’s why it’s called pro choice and not pro abortion. Because it’s about the having choice to get one if you want or need to, not the procedure itself.
