Most of my IRL friends are female. I got made fun of a bit for hanging out with a bunch of girls in school. It was funny to see peoples ego so fragile that hanging out with many people of the opposite gender was something to make fun of despite them talking about how much sex they supposedly have.

I had mostly all guy friends. Still do. Because it’s amazing what actually TALKING to guys will do. Seriously that personal army I mentioned? Mostly guys who valued my friendship. Not my body. Me. Hell when an ex broke up with me one of my personal army keyed his car because the ex made me cry. He never told me he did it. He never tried to be a show-off. He was just getting the revenge he knew I wanted but wouldn’t seek.

And you know what? I was fine with that.

Tumblr’s all about “Oh women are oppressed all men are evil rapists.” Because they focus on these isolated incidents and are stuck up their own ass.

Guys.

I have about 12 guy friends who would beg to differ but can’t stick up for themselves because of the massive amounts of hate. It’s gotten so bad that if I stick up for them I’m called a gender traitor (No seriously. I have. In a bar.) and accused of being male.

It’s getting to the point where women are not oppressed and men are starting to be oppressed. And it’s gonna rebound harshly.

We can’t stand up for ourselves because once we say “Not all guys” the extremists are like “booohooo man tears yes all men”
