I love when people at the comic shop start making fun of me if the subject of my like of ponies comes up, and I’m sitting there thinking “You realize I know of at least three others here within earshot that are the same.”

Wait, people at a comic shop who are often ridiculed for liking comics and hero shows are making fun of someone who likes a show about ponies? Hippocrates much.

I used to point that out to people and would relish their answers full of double standards. “But comics now days are aimed at adults!” Yes, and I’m sure that Big Lebowski cameo in MLP was totally intended for the kids to get.

And I’m sure they would understand the kill bill, james bond and gaslight references pinkie made on the train episode.
