It’s odd. I have no trouble talking to people I don’t know on the internet, yet every time I go out to a public place I’m completely silent and can’t say a word.
that’s because over the internet you have time to review what you type and there isn’t a way for it to be mispronounced. Also, you don’t see peoples faces often so you aren’t intimidated by their appearance. Over the internet you see people for who they truly are and you have comfort in talking to the people you know are your friends.
