i have omega ruby AND alpha sapphire so i just figured i’d make this post about shit i noticed in the magma/aqua bases for convenience sake cause some of them are kinda hilarious

• there’s a guy in the breakroom who reveals that team aqua has literally no working hours or set breaks and are super chill as an organization.  you could literally just take the day off all the time.
• there’s also a guy in there who implies that he’s sad the group is turning over a new leaf because it means he can “squirt people with water anymore”
• in the shipyard of the magma base the grunt who told zinnia where shit was talks about how scared they are to get reprimanded, that their pay will be cut and “maxie is a scary man…” the aqua grunt here just says “i probably shouldn’t have done that, archie will give me noogies…”
• in the magma base in a small room there is a grunt who is just repeatedly touching this pipe full of lava and talking about how they should probably know better
• both bases have grunts hovering around the vending machines, the aqua one not being able to decide which kind of drink to get and the magma one talking about how hes a good boy for not drinking soda
• the magma base has a grunt that reveals that every single morning at fucking 11 o clock they are all forced to gather into one room and listen to maxie talk.

OK BUT THE ROOMS OF THE HIGHER UPS??

• courtney’s room has a computer in it with a ton of pictures of maxie throughout the years??? and this is just up on her computer.  the last time she was on her computer this is what she was looking at.  i love courtney.
• tabitha has a ton of cute pokemon magazines on his shelves
• shelly has been friends with archie for at least 12 years, there’s a photo of her and archie with jirachi framed on her desk.  she also hoardes pokemon magazines.
• MATT HAS NO BED.  THE ONLY THING IN HIS ROOM IS A MAT, A PILLOW, A PUNCHING BAG, AND A BOOM BOX WITH A MIXTAPE THAT EITHER HE MADE FOR ARCHIE OR ARCHIE MADE FOR HIM??? (its called Bro Special Vol. 7, indicating that there are at least 6 others)
• Archie is the only person in the base to have personalized covers—they have stripes on them.  He sleeps with 3 pillows instead of one.
• MAXIE DOES NOT HAVE A BED??? THERE IS NO BED IN HIS ROOM? just a tv screen and a desk and a couch amongst other things.  He either NEVER SLEEPS or just passes out on his fucking couch every night and waits for one of the admins to throw a blanket over him.
