Why would we put up a flag in a classroom? Are people afraid the children would forget which country they are in?
My favorite thing about the multicultural nature of Tumblr is watching people from other countries learn that America is much, much worse than they ever dreamed.
We also had to pledge our allegiance to the flag every single day. In texas, you had to pledge allegiance to not only america but to texas as well.
If this shit happened like italy or germany, someone would call the fucking UN.

Also I live in Texas. We have two flags and we had to say two different kinds of pledges in the morning.
Well, I don’t know if it’s normal for other states to bledge to their state as well or if texas just does it because texas was once it’s own country (Which is why it’s the only state flag that is allowed to fly at the same height as the american flag)
