We do not know her name, but we still mourn her.
I am so heartbroken and so angry. Because I know there are more we’ve lost, whose names will never be known, whose true identities will never be recognized, whom we can never mourn properly. Because I know there will be more names added to this list. Remember these names. Remember each and every one of the beautiful trans lives lost to transphobic violence and oppression. Every moment, every day, let us fight in their names against the system that is killing us.
