I still say that purple guy and phone guy where two different people who worked together. Phone guy was keeping the press out and helping purple guy hide the bodies.
Purple guy was Springtrap and Phone guy was gold Freddy.
Probably doesn’t work, but I don’t care.
golden freddy was still a thing when phone guy was alive. However, I will agree that the golden freddy suit was a hybrid suit just like golden bonnie (later becoming spring trap) And that they were the original mascots of fredbear diner.
