okay but also consider all these little arbitrary things to take from this episode:

• Dipper is such a precious little wimp that he literally can’t throw a water balloon hard enough to pop it
• Manly Dan basically tried to kill a child for talking smack about a boy band
  
• McGucket continues to have a raccoon wife even after his memories are restored
• Cinnamon bun Soos confirmed to actually want Stan to be his dad 
• The portal was “meant to create knowledge”, not unlike the machine Waddles made in the fake story Stan made up about him
• How many people do you think died during that final gravity shift tho
  
• Why was Dipper’s birthmark downplayed for so long, yet we kept seeing it in that final scene?
• Seriously though how is someone so weak they can’t break a water balloon this dork child is gonna be the end of me
