I hate it when foreign cartoons get dubbed over but I love it when said cartoons have songs that need to be translated as well because often you can just hear the desperation of the poor fuck who had to translate the lyrics in such a way that it conveys the song’s original message but also still rhymes.

You haven’t lived until you’ve heard the Dutch version of the Fairly Odd Parents theme song.

Unless you don’t speak Dutch in which case you wouldn’t understand the translated lyrics anyway so I guess you’re not really missing out on anything.
