My favorite thing about the Steven Universe fandom rn is that no one seems to hate Peridot… but everyone likes to rag on her. Shes the butt of every joke and its hilarious.
Peridot is like the anthropomorphized version of the “And then there’s THIS asshole” meme.
It’s because she’s not evil, she’s just trying to do her job.
If your job is trying to take over the world and eradicate the human race, I’m pretty sure you majored in evilness.
Look at it this way. The gems see humans like humans see ants. Is an exterminator evil for getting rid of a big anthill?
