ehhhh, I don’t think the temple is a ship. Acually, considering that the triangle ship had a mural of rose fighting what appears to be blue diamond, it IS possible that they hijacked the hip, repurposed it and after the crystal gems won (probably with their temple fusion) they removed the engine and rose hid the key.
Actually, since what might be the key was in lions mane, it’s possible Rose hid lion from pearl to prevent pearl from taking the ship back to homeworld. I mean, we all know how desperate pearl was to leave earth.
