can you guys imagine what it would be like if James and Lily had never been killed and Harry wasn’t the chosen one but he still got himself into random crazy shennanigans with Ron and Hermoine anyways

actually, if this happened, nevil would be the chosen one. so dobby would have closed the wall on him. harry ron and hermione would be on the train and nevil would find some other way to hogwarts with whatever friends he made.
Also, snape would still be a death eater and wouldn’t work at hogwarts so the potions master would probably be someone like slughorn who would spill all the beans by the third book.
Also, Sirius wouldn’t have been arrested and peter wouldn’t have betrayed them so the marauders would still be a group and that would have been really cool. like.
