- steven is fat and it aint ever even brought up
- sadie was shown having leg hair
- garnet is black and queer
- stevonnie is genderless and very attractive and nobody really questions it
- lots of characters have non-nuclear families
- marty, shown in an obviously negative light, is a blatant misogynist
- greg, who is shown in a positive light, says good stuff like “women are people” and “there’s no such thing as a good war”
