why do you insist on lying when it’s just easier to tell the truth

the more you lie, the bigger the lie has to get

and the worse off you’re going to be when you get called out on it

it’s honestly easier to just say “I’m sorry, I lied, I’m insecure, I’m compulsive, I just want to be noticed, I need help”
