If it was 2 times 45, 360/4 would have to equal 45, and it doesn’t.

2x=360/4
2x=90 (90x4=360)
x=45 (divide everything by 2, 90/2=45)

in short, the speed limit is 45 and y'all need a better algebra teacher.
