Because of that we turned out as evil as the world God forced us in. Except we're doing better now. And God doesn't exist.
I wouldn’t say humans as a whole are evil. actually, a lot of the worst humans are the ones who use the book as a weapon so they are only evil as god made them. Assuming god is real.
