They’re not being stupid, they’re right. You literally took a character from a fandom you left. “Vincent isn’t canonly Purple Guy” Well you draw them the exact same, they have the same personality, same basic everything honestly. You didn’t even do something subtle to change his physical appearance, he’s still a purple noseless psycho that you like to shit on. If you’re going to re-use a character, fine whatever, but don’t pretend like they aren’t identical to a character from a fandom you left. Honestly Deox I thought you were at least a little better than that, come on.

Vincent purple guy is from Rebornica’s AU, not the canon made by Scott. Noseless purple psycho? Ah yes, because helping kids fight off their nightmares is psychotic and evil. Yup. Also, Purple Guy from the game is just a purple sprite walking around in the restaurant on an Atari game, and Vince from Night Terror helps kids. Their facial and body structure ain’t a problem, as long as the thing they’re doing changes like killing kids, and helping kids.

Ahh yes the way their depicted by Deox and act as sooo different. It’s literally the same character. Look, you can like the character and all but their the exact same. They have the same design, personality, they are portrayed in the same way. There’s almost nothing separating them from being different.

Deox has a great story and concept going on, and yeah, the character is interesting, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t literally the same character slapped into another story. Try and defend it if you want, but you know it’s true. They’re literally the same character.
