Yes, I don’t deny their problems, but when you sit down and REALLY think about it, the themes are really deep and amazing.

Like Anakin’s fall. His fall to the darkside was born out of guilt. Obi-Wan kept building Anakin up as a chosen one who would change the fate of the universe. But, Anakin more of less had a great number of failures. He failed to protect his mother. He failed his control his anger. He failed to kill Dooku, which led to the big war. His failures dragged him down, because he thought he was better than failure. When he believed Padme would die in childbirth, he realized the Jedi could not help him. Palpatine offered Anakin an out. A way to save Padme and avoid being a failure to the person who loved him most.

If anything, I just wish it was a tad more obvious, and a few more scenes had been dedicated to Anakin’s inability to stand failure.

what people don’t realize is that anakin did bring balance to the force. true balance. neutral balance. There was an over abundance of Jedi and he and Palpatine exterminated them.

The Jedi had become so proud and short sighted that they never considered themselves part of the imbalance. They thought of Anakin as their chosen warrior, because they clearly didn’t see themselves as the problem.

Also, side note: Why is there no AU where Darth Maul found Anakin first? That would be interesting.

Would darth maul care about anakin? I mean, to him anakin is just some slave owned by a junk merchant. Darth maul was sent to the planet to get queen amadala.
