“money doesn’t buy happiness” let me test this hypothesis

silver-tongues-blog

The phrase “money doesn’t buy happiness” is supposed to refer to money beyond what you need is not what will bring happiness but doing what you enjoy does. However, the upper class has skewed this to make middle and lower classes feel ashamed for wanting more money just so they can live and pursue their interests.

So while money ultimately cannot buy happiness, it can provide you enough space and resources to live and the instruments and education necessary to do what you enjoy, which WILL provide happiness.
