I can’t even believe how shitty this is. my partner and I went to sephora (the same one I got a shit ton of other stuff from) last Saturday and I knew we were being sus as all get out, but she wanted to keep going and I was just taking a few things that I knew I wanted from last time I was in there. we spent waaaaay too long in there and I was trying to get out fast but she was taking her time. anyway we didn’t beep when we got out but we did get stopped by lp. I think we could have made it out had we been quicker to move on to the bathroom which is where we were going to go next, but we hesitated and were brought back to the office of sephora. we were back there for like 2 and a half hours waiting for our parents to get us (we are both under 18) and the police officer said since we were being honest and seemed like good people he was only charging us with misdemeanors. yes, they caught us on tape, and yes, we had tools in our bags. my total was just under the amount of money I had in my wallet. so. embarrassing. sephora ALWAYS presses charges and I may or may not have to pay restitution. I’m grounded until graduation, about 35 days, and I have no phone, laptop, make up, nail polish, contact with the partner I got caught with (she is one of my closest friends and I can’t see her at all anymore) and I can’t go on the senior trip, or leave the house at all unless its school or work. life has been absolutely miserable this week and I’m typing this from my sisters old iPod. this is going to stay on my record for 7 years, and I don’t know when my court date will be set. I’ve lost my only friend and my moms trust. I don’t know if I will continue lifting, maybe just food or necessities. stay safe you guys! don’t be sloppy and if you have bad vibes, dip.
