Also this, just in case there are still ANY people out there who think Pearl just viewed Rose Quartz as “her liege” or a mother or a friend. Pearl was and is still romantically in love with Rose Quartz. It’s been abundantly clear since “Rose’s Scabbard”. It’s canon. If blatantly showing it in the show didn’t clue you in, here it is straight from a writer on the show. Get over it.

Total honesty time? I really did think that it was a strong ‘liege’ relationship… up until Rose’s Scabbard. I’m slow  to seeing cannon ships unless it’s spelled out in neon letters and BOY OH BOY.

The only reasons why you’d still deny this was a ship that happened, you either just didn’t see the episodes or you’re just straight up tripping at this point.

People are in such denial that they refuse to look at all evidence pointing to something being true. Hell, not even word of god can sway them. Remember back when people refused to accept that korrasami was a thing that happened despite the writers confirming it was romantic, not platonic? Or people trying to convince everyone that ruby is a boy? People are so scared of something being out of the norm that they deny the truth that sometimes people like people of the same gender.
