ok so this was literally her stance on gay marriage until like 2013. and also her being “fake” goes way beyond this one issue like hillary clinton is SO fucking moderate and has always been and so to aid her 2016 campaign she’s “changed her opinion” on like a million different things because she knows she needs to be a certain amount of ~~progressive~~~ to get the democratic vote and in particular the millennial vote, this is just one example (another would be how she literally voted for three strikes laws and more cops/harsher sentences but now is preaching about mass incarceration). she’s a seedy inconsistent fucking old white politician and she makes herself out to be this leftist feminist icon when she’s actually barely even liberal- and THATS what this post is addressing, not just this single out of context quote from 2000
