To anyone freaking out over the Orphaned Works Copyright Law
Sorry for adding to the freakout, folks.
Just to clarify.
This is why I haven’t reblogged anything about the Orphaned Works Copyright Law. The name alone sounded too stupid for this to be a real thing.
I apologize for freaking out as well (curse my jumping to conclusions, I should know better by now).
I was skeptical from the start. THere’s no way a government run by big corporations would pass a bill that made theft of intellectual products easier.
