It’s been 13 years and I still don’t understand how little girl Tetra was the boss of all those huge manly pirates.
Okay so,
There’s a portrait down in old Hyrule, of the last Princess Zelda to actually have that name rather than have it shoved on her by a pushy boat:
Notice how she’s surrounded by courtiers and manservants and so on who closely resemble the pirates.
There’s also that Tetra’s mother was the last captain before she died.
So basically, Tetra’s mother died before she could pass on the secret that she’s the rightful heir to the throne. Presumably at an age where she could handle the responsibility.
The royal line of Hyrule and their loyal servants have been living as pirates for generations.
Surely after a generation or two, their loyalty would falter, as they’ve only known a pirate’s life.
Nope. The loyalty runs deep in the veins of the servants who became the pirate crew. They cannot falter.
