The best kids shows are ones that challenge children to think. The best kids shows give all characters depth. Saying poor writing is excusable because “it’s a kids show” is an insult to kids and kid shows everywhere. That is why I don’t like it when people say teen titans go shouldn’t be criticized because it’s a kids show.

Actually yes. In the episode “slade returns” it’s about beastboy and cyborg getting a clown and complaining about how lame it is and raven is like “THAT’S BECAUSE THEY’RE FOR KIDS” and in the end beast boy and cyborg were like “I guess it’s lame because it’s for kids and we’re adults. I guess we should leave it for kids”
The name of the episode itself was to bait the fans of the original show to watch while the message was “the show is for kids. Fuck your citicisms . Get over yourself” which is a terrible message because it’s insulting to kids.
