When people compare the greatness that is The Simpsons to other animated shows like Family Guy it makes me want to set myself on fire
I went on a date last year and jokingly said “Don’t ask me I’m just a girl” and giggled at a 35 year old man thinking he’d get the reference and instead he said “that’s what I like to hear.”

I hate it when people compare family guy to simpsons. Simpsons at least had morals to teach like fight the system when the system beifits the few rather than the many and don’t give into gender norms whereas family guy teaches you that if you’re abused in a household, it’s because they would attack each other if you weren’t there and no matter how bad your family is, you’re obligated to love them because they’re your family. you can see why simpsons is better than family guy.
