bird stages of getting new toy
stage one: scream in fear for like an hour because CHANGE IS BAD
stage two: isolate self as far away from the change as possible
step three: take a nap and hope it goes when wake up
step four: glare angrily at seed dish filler because how dare you bring this into my cage
step five: take out anger at change by destroying rest of cage
step six: accidentally flies into it
step seven: repeat step one
step eight: finally give in and play with new toy
bonus step nine: abandon all other toys and dedicate entire life to this new toy
