Man am I the only one who hates it when people look at girls that are traditionally masculine or guys that are traditionally feminine and then immediately headcanon them as trans or insist that they are trans.



I mean trans headcanons are fine but if it’s made BECAUSE of the fact that they are masculine or feminine is what bugs me

This was basically what I was saying about people thinking Steven is a transgirl now? Characters can have masculine or feminine traits, that doesn’t mean they’re trans…

Yeah, its very damaging too. They be implying that if you are a certain gender and you act and dress the way the opposite gender is stereotyped as, that means you are trans, which erases girls who are traditionally masculine/boys that are traditionally feminine. Which is not cool at all.

It pisses me off too because the reason people do the things they do is more likely because they have low self esteem due to toxic environments. Like dipper and danny fenton. They aren’t trans because they wear shirts to the pool, they are incredibly self conscious.
