What I mean on that is that I would spend hours working on an update of fairly decent quality and it wouldn’t get notes. Nobody was paying attention to my art despite people following it. I started losing all motivation because there was no point if nobody was gonna look at it and eventually closed all my pony blogs leaving me with only my personal blog.
I’m not an isolated case. I have seen many blogs with great art that only has like 1 or 2 notes each and hasn’t updated in months or even a year and I’m pretty sure they felt the same way. It sucks because artists will put their heart into these pictures only for them to be ignored.
