It depends on whether the male is cute or not. When Steven universe dressed in sadies clothes so she didn’t have to go on stage because she had bad anxiety, nobody yelled transmysogony. They yelled that Steven must be trans. It’s a shallow double standard and they don’t actually care for trans people, they just want to fetishize it.
