I used to, I quote the old episodes all the time because there were actually good jokes and they had characters to play the ‘straight guy’. But those characters were all flanderized so there’s no 2 sides to a joke any more. There’s no one to be the voice of reason, they’re all nuts and two dimensional now.

Meg is now only defined by being ugly and abused, for example. It just kept escalating from a small joke that she was unattractive, but they’ve really blown it out of proportion. It’s not funny any more, it’s just grating, obnoxious, and there’s nothing else to her any more that keeps her character in tact.

I hate what meg has evolved to and what her relationship with the family is because they even had an episode to try and justify her abuse which was kinda disgusting, even by family guy standards.
