I've been rereading a bunch of old Goosebumps books for the movie and I'm REALLY surprised the Blob That Ate Everyone wasn't more important to the story. I mean the whole book is about a boy with a MAGIC TYPEWRITER who WRITES HORROR STORY MONSTERS that COME TO LIFE.
I htink slappy was a fantastic villain, he was always the creepiest and most evil goosebumps villain and he DID save the blob for last for some sort of dramatic tension. I think all the books were eqully important to the movie though, even nightmare in 3-d which was a fear street book, not goosebumps.
