ok we’ve all been having fun with the idea of Papyrus also being aware of the different timelines, but here’s a thought:  Since Pap’s always the one who dies first, he still has no knowledge of the full extent of Sans’ powers, nor does he know about the final showdown w/ the player.

He just knows there’s something Sans isn’t telling him.
