The story
Robbie Rodriquez, the “creator” or Spider-gwen, is still salty that Frank Cho do how Frank Cho do, and posts this tweet.
Frank Cho responded with a sketch cover
And later responded more directly
“Yes. I DO have a gift basket for you, Robbi Rodriguez. :-)In the gift basket:*Drawing Beautiful Women book to help you draw better. (Autographed.)*English Grammar for Dummies book to help improve your grammar skills beyond the second grade level.*Preparation H for your butt hurt.”

Shouldn’t the title of that book be “Drawing Beautiful Woman”? Cho’s only ever draw one with different hairstyles
What’s with the Anti-SJW buzzwords on the cover? (note that I have zero context for any of this like literally none)
Because he’s making fun of the SJWs bitching about his drawings and trying to police his art and art in general.
Context
It’s been a while, but I think it went down like this
Based Cho drew this as a commission and posted it on his personal website
This was around the who controversey and the art policing idiots were all full of piss and vinegar. They started bitching and moaning about the drawing. Word made it back to the artist/creator of Spider-gwen, and he issued this tweet with his thoughts on the matter
(Which is a veiled threat)
With the creator of the character backing them, the art police went into full on maximum outrage mode.
So, naturally, like any sane person would do when confronted with a bunch of 12 year olds crying over drawings, Cho responded with this
And then this
Now he seems to be having fun with it.
So NATURALLY, Marvel hired him to do the art for the new Hulk book.
DC needs to hire him to do Power Girl.
I love this guy.
When will art police realize the more you bitch at artists to not do something, the more they’ll do it just to spite you?
Based Cho.
Based Cho…INDEED!!!
he is my hero
I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THIS BUT NOW THIS GUY IS MY FUCKING HERO!!!
Not mentioned is the original Gwen image that kicked it off was a reference to an old Spider Woman cover, hence the Deja Vu comment on it.
