Not gonna lie. It felt really good to be passive-aggressive to that customer.
Being passive aggressive to shitty customers is always the best. Just today I had to be like “ I’m sorry it took so long, it would have been faster had I had the right apartment number
I told her we could make an exception this one time and she was like “Well it may just be the last time.” And I literally just smiled and said. “That’s fine ma'am I’m sorry you feel that way can I have your receipt back real quick?”
My first job, I had four a year an a half and got fired for pointing out to a customer that he was not in fact the only customer that we had and that his food took a long time because I had to bring other people their food first. He told me to get off his property and so I was all “okay, you don’t need to be rude” and then he followed me to my car and yelled at me some more so I said “sir, you asked me to get off your property, so this is me getting off your property.” and left. I may have gotten fired but considering how good it felt, the fact that the managers still let me use them as a reference and the fact taht I now have a better paying job, I say it was worth it.
