Grell Sutcliff from Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji is canonically a trans woman who is even referred to as a “self declared lady” and refers to herself as a lady/actress/woman and then explicitly states that her dream for the future is to have a sex change and tons and tons and tons of people still not only disregard that but outright argue against it and continue to call her a man….

Y'all just.. don’t want characters to be trans and it is so obvious it’s not at all subtle lmao…….

Also the head of the sohma house is canonically trans in fruits basket. like, literally the soul of a male god was born into a female body.
