I know there are a lot of creepy Pokemon theories out there but this is one theory that’s proven in canon and it’s fucking creepy.

So we can confirm two things that are canon on the pokemon universe:
1. Parasects are Cordyceps. But instead of killing their host as feeding on themselves, their form some weird form of symbiosis that just render the host unable to act by its own.
2. In the pokemon universe, China still exists.
