Send a post to a someone that’ll love it.

Messaging news! Three things are happening! All of them are good:

• There’s a new button on every post. It’s a paper airplane.
  
• That paper airplane lets you send any post as a message.
  
• And messaging is out to everyone. We flipped the switch.
  

So now 100% of you can talk to a Tumblr using posts instead of words. Or in addition to. Whichever. Have fun!

The paper plane is on iOS and the web right now, and it’ll be flung out to Android users over the next 24 hours.

Still not replies… do not want messaging

I like messaging, but I really want my direct replies back. It was great being able to have feedback for a specific post you could go back to at any time and know precisely what was being referenced. Why did staff take away the one bit of communication on this site that was actually good?

Part of me is still hoping that staff is still working on replies and bringing them back new and updated so you can directly reply to replies instead of having to copy paste each reply or screenshot them to answer.

staff please i can already send posts in messages i just get the direct url from the … button it takes like 2 seconds.

what i really want is replies back because my interactions with people are dying please
