4chan accidentally invents historical fiction

Technicaly speaking they should be able to be a Cleric for it is also a profession not a class, lol.

To be fair, I kinda see what OP is talking about. A good example would be something like Game of Thrones. A “gritty” world where people don’t really have access to magic, there aren’t fantastic races. 

However when people want run games like this using D&D or Pathfinder I tend to shake my head. Why use a system where magic is such an integral part of the mechanics to run a game without it, balance ends up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off.
