It baffles me how many sexist jerks go against women’s attempts to gain equality by positing some cheap-Twilight-Zone-knock-off matriarchial mirrorverse where sexism against men runs rampant.
That’s like opposing animal cruelty laws by saying “BUT WHAT IF BEAST WAS MASTER OVER MAN?!” ’s all I’m saying.
It’s funny because it shows they KNOW what oppression looks like, but their concern is that it’ll happen to them if it stops happening to someone else. As soon as they whip out this argument they’ve basically shot themselves in the foot and permanently nullified every other point they think they have.
