So. We just had a guy return his TV AND his computer because “The government was watching him through them.”
“Every time I Google something or look at something on Amazon or eBay or watch a movie on Netflix I get ads for it on Facebook and everywhere else!”
“Sir that’s how ads work on the web they use your searches and info like that to tailer the ads to you and your interests.”
“NO! THE GOVERNMENT is watching me through my computer and TV and they’re watching YOU TOO!!”
“Alright sir here’s your money back.”
I was able to hold my tongue and keep my comment in. Honestly, if the government is watching me through my laptop and TV they REALLY need to not waste their time.
