Okay I gotta say this, if a character in something has lost an arm, only to have it replaced with an awesome bionic thing that’s clearly way better than a normal arm.
They’re not disabled. They don’t have a disability, they have an awesome robot hand.
From the sounds of it you’re disabled for a few years still as your body heals/adjusts with rehab and stuff. Edward was an exceptional case in only taking one year to do the rehab.
Or hiccup who had to make his own leg and toothless’s tail and had to make adjustments and they are still rather faulty at times but he’s always improving them.
Yeah, but those weren’t improvements. I’m assuming this was sparked by the robot chef arm where someone called him an awesome disabled character despite that robot arm being clearly superior to a normal human arm.
Well, why not make a better replacement? If you lose something why not get a more versatile replacement if you can afford it?
