Our Thursday afternoon conference call took an interesting turn when we starting debating who would win in a fight: a Weeping Angel or the Silence. We said that the Weeping Angels would definitely win but our English cousins think that it’d be the Silence. What do you think, who would win?

In a first encounter, the Weeping Angel, as the Silence would most likely turn away while still in the sight line of an Angel and therefore be overtaken. However, once it was known by the Silence how they attacked, all they would have to do is walk out of the line of sight while keeping their eyes on the Angel, so the Angel would forget they were there. Wonder what a confused Weeping Angel looks like?

These are all very good points so here’s a new question: who would win between the Silence, a Weeping Angel, and an Adipose? 

Hmmm. The Silence have actually been good guys at one point, so I’d say they win. And yes, they do have eyes.

You’d see some Silents get killed by the Weeping Angels, but as a group they’d win by simply being too forgettable to pursue. Waitaminute, too forgettable to hunt…perfect camouflage? Wait were the Silence the monsters in the episode Listen? I don’t remember seeing them, but then again, I wouldn’t remember seeing them…

EDIT: And now I’m sitting here thinking “Wait, Listen is an anagram of Silent…”

Who are the silence? All I can think of in this situation is somehow three idiot angels end up looking at each other and are locked in place.
