other m was a special case here because the creators of other m literally came out and said “so our game is coming out and is canon and you know what isn’t canon? metroid prime.” and then went ahead and even wrote in a retcon of samus’s back story to make sure metroid prime definitely didn’t happen. not sure why they did that but lets consider the fact that retro studios made the best damn metroid game since super and fucking owned it.

fuck this game and fuck the egotistical piece of shit project lead of this garbage

dont forget, it basically retcons the fuck out of every metroid game that isn’t itself

the only one it doesn’t retcon is metroid fusion
