I’m also really glad that the finale of Gravity Falls didn’t hook anybody up. Gideon didn’t have some final extra moment with Mabel implying anything might go anywhere now that he’s learned and the secret letter Wendy gives to Dipper just turns out to be from everyone, collectively. That so goddamn sweet.
The closest thing was just the episode confirming what was already obvious to everybody and I’m glad Disney allowed them to come out and say it, especially after the network made them nix an explicit portrayal of gay characters once before.the purest relationship in television
